Position Description

Within this role, you will undertake the following roles and responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one with clients to learn their circumstances, identify treatment options and assist them through these difficult circumstances.
• As part of a close team at Inala, you will work together and coordinate with other employees to ensure patients are receiving the best care possible
• Assess the client’s needs and determine how to best meet these needs
• Providing practical, comprehensive and compassionate support to patients
• Advocate for the patient’s needs
• Scheduling appointments with patients
• Communicating and forming partnerships with community health and welfare agencies in order to ensure all parties provide the best care for patients.
• Supervise and coordinate

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in social work
• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA) or Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
• 2+ years experience in a similar clinical role
• Resilience and a strong problem solving ability
• Excellent communication skills
• A passion and commitment to help patients
• Vietnamese speaker is preferred
