Our client is a not for profit organisation providing residential aged care, home care, and independent living across New South Wales and Victoria. They have a proud history spanning over a century caring for frail aged and people living with dementia across culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

This is a beautiful seaside town on the sparkling Sapphire Coast with amazing beaches, coastal lakes. You can enjoy a range of water sports, whale watching, explore wildlife and enjoy delicious fresh seafood. 

We are currently seeking a Facility Manager | DON with aged care experience to join a medium sized aged care facility in Snowy Monaro Region. 

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this is a leadership role that will take you to the next level of management. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, you will co-ordinate and oversee the over all operations of this 100 bed site. You will be supported by a strong deputy manager and clinical team. You will also enjoy working with a supportive leadership and HR team. 

You are highly organised and self-motivated, and someone who can manage their time and be flexible with their workloads. You will have previous staff management experience preferably managing a multi-functional team, have exceptional communication and time management skills and be passionate about providing quality aged care.
Key Requirements

• Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing / Facility Manager
• Exceptional clinical knowledge and skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
• Sound knowledge of ACFI, Accreditation and aged care legislation
