About our Subacute Ward H at Casey Hospital

Casey Hospital Ward H is a purpose built 30 bed Subacute Unit. We have a dedicated multidisciplinary team who work closely together to ensure we achieve the best possible outcomes for patients and their families and carers. We provide an extensive list of services from our clinicians which include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dietetics, psychology, social work, music therapy and more all overseen by our specialised Rehabilitation Consultant and Geriatrician. As a part of the nursing team you will develop strong clinical partnerships with all disciplines and implement care plans for all of your patients.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse you will make a difference by supporting patients and their families to provide holistic care in a supportive environment, alongside a wide variety of medical specialties. We are committed evidence-based practice and we look to build strong rapport and confidence in our nursing team, advocating for and preserving their dignity.

These are ongoing full-time and part time positions, working across ALL clinical shifts, seven (7) days a week.

About You

If you have exceptional clinical nursing skills, are able to communicate effectively and can work within a high functioning, fast paced environment with accomplished teamwork and leadership skills then you are ready to take the next step in your Career. You need to lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic team based environment and be truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based nursing care to all patients. You need to be an advocate of Monash Health's Strategic Guiding Principles and exhibit ICARE values.
