JOB DESCRIPTION
The Society of Saint Hilarion Inc. Aged Care is a not for profit organisation which has been providing Residential Aged Care and Community services for 30 years. We seek a qualified and experienced candidate to join a progressive Management team.
This Role Will
- Manage the Information Technology, Procurement, Property, Infrastructure and contract management functions of the business.
- Oversee the maintenance portfolio of two residential care homes (Seaton & Fulham).
- Ensure compliance with the new Aged Care Quality Standards within the roles' areas of responsibility.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to maintain and develop effective relationships.
- Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure agreements are cost effective and fit for purpose.
- Work within and contribute to the organisation's plan for continuous improvement.
- Manage the maintenance team
- Holds relevant formal qualification(s) at Bachelor degree level or equivalent experience.
- Is motivated, proactive, creative, outcomes focused and has proven ability to build positive relationships
- Has had demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within the Aged Care or healthcare sectors.
- Has ability to proactively develop productive working relationships and effectively interact with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Holds strong analytical and problem solving skills to assess impacts, risks and benefits and sees projects through
- Will have previous experience in contracts management & procurement.
- Demonstrates exemplary written and verbal communications skills
- Be familiar with the Aged Care Quality Standards quality standards and accreditation processes
