About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced social worker, occupation therapist, psychologist, or registered psychiatric nurse to join our established team of FaPMI Coordinators (Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness).

Working in a team alongside two other FaPMI Coordinators, you will be responsible for building service capacity to respond effectively to families where parents / guardians have a mental illness. You will achieve this through the development and implementation of procedures and clinical practice guidelines, staff education and consultation, and building partnerships with external stakeholders. The FaPMI Coordinators work across the whole mental health program, and this role also has a specific focus on the Casey/Cardinia service area. Your will also be required to work in collaboration with FaPMI Coordinators from other services, under direction from the state-wide FaPMI Coordinator.

You will have experience of adult mental health service provision and working knowledge of recovery oriented practice and family/carer inclusive practice. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be proficient writing and presenting reports, and reviewing policies and procedures. . You will also have skills in project management, and proven abilities in navigating complex service structures to manage and deliver organisational change.
