The role

As a regional ACFI Specialist Coordinator you will be working to maintain the Aged Care Funding Instrument management system across multiple aged care facilities, supporting the management & clinical support staff within various locations throughout Riverina NSW. You will assess & review resident ACFI appraisals, ensuring maximisation of funding is achieved to reflect resident care needs within each service.

You can be based at any of the chosen sites, with the flexibility to work remotely. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel to multiple sites to support with ACFI processes.

Having previous experience with the end to end ACFI process, you will have the ability to support and educate care team members surrounding the accurate completion of documentation.

Summary of Duties

  • Preparation, assessment, review & submission of ACFI claims
  • Ensure maximisation of ACFI funding reflecting resident care needs
  • Accurate completion of relevant documentation
  • Review & update resident documentation
  • Training & development of clinical team members
  • Ensure accreditation, compliance & quality indicators are met

Skills and Experience

  • AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse
  • ACFI Appraisal training qualification
  • Experience with end to end ACFI process
  • Ability to identify, review & maximise ACFI claims
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to travel to services within Riverina NSW
