We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, business savvy people leader to join our team in Brisbane!
The opportunity..
We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to work across some of our Brisbane sites.
This is an opportunity for someone who has a sound background in management and is looking to start their career within the Aged Care space or further develop their knowledge and skills in Aged Care while being supported and mentored by an experienced manager.
This role creates the perfect stepping stone for someone who is looking to break into a rapidly growing industry. Your commitment and dedication will be imperative, as will a demonstrated pride in service excellence, to enable success in this role.
Key responsibilities..
Completing a thorough on boarding program and developing the knowledge and skills required to be a General Manager;
Full oversight of the Catering, Laundry, Maintenance and Administration areas;
HR and staff management;
Management of the facility P&L;
Sales and Marketing of the Facility;
Ensure compliance with all WHS processes
Working closely with your leadership team and frontline staff to ensure a positive, friendly, helpful and effective culture;
Interacting with the residents and their families daily;
Competitive Remuneration | $95k + Super + Bonus incentive
Base salary negotiated based on previous experience, size and location of the aged care home.
About you..
This position would be suited to someone who is eager to learn, dynamic in personality and is ideally tertiary qualified in business, health or a hospitality related discipline. Experience in aged care or health services targeted to older people will be very well regarded.
Ideally you will be experienced within a multi-faceted, service based environment although this may come from a variety of industries. A natural leader and motivator, your communication skills will be exemplary.
You will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to successfully lead and motivate services teams, providing strong and positive leadership whilst guiding strategic direction.
Critical to your success is your compassion and energy for people. You are someone who embodies and role models the Regis values of Optimism, Passion, Integrity and Respect.

Valid National Police Check
Evidence that you have had the 2020 Flu Vaccination or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered*

- The Australian Government has advised that all residential aged care staff and visiting workers should be vaccinated by 1 May 2020. This includes both current and future Regis employees. VIC & QLD currently exempt.
