National Home Doctor has a fast paced and rewarding opportunity for you as the Rostering Coordinator, in our Rose Park office.

Who are we?

National Home Doctor is Australia's largest network of after-hours home visiting doctors that provide urgent medical care to patients in need. Our national team supports day-time GP practices and aged care facilities to provide continuity of care to their patients and reduce pressure on emergency departments.

We want someone who will share our passion for urgent after hours care and enjoys engaging with people and embracing any change and challenges they may face. This role is as much about relationship management as it is rostering/utilising our team.

What will you be doing?

The role of the Rostering Coordinator is critical to our success. You will be the primary lead in engaging and working collaboratively with our SA and WA doctors on a daily basis, ensuring our doctors are available to assist patients in the after-hours.

Reporting to the State Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging strong phone/interpersonal skills to proactively and remotely engage doctors on a daily basis
  • Producing and optimising daily rosters
  • Analysing daily performance to identify improvement opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate information on doctor records
  • Assisting in on boarding and supporting new doctors
  • Liaising with various internal stakeholders to ensure effective daily operations
  • Assist in building and communicating doctors advance rosters

What knowledge, skills and attributes do you have?

  • Excellent people skills (verbal and written communication)
  • Outstanding influencing and negotiating skills (sales experience a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Resilience and a positive approach to challenges
  • Ability to work to deadlines, multi-task and self-manage
  • Intermediate experience in MS Office products, particularly Excel, is desired
  • Workforce planning experience beneficial, but not critical
