Contal is currently seeking a full-time Java Software Engineers (senior or high mid-level) to join our small but bright Brisbane team as we prepare to expand our client base and our software developments, which are in a range of industries including travel, hospitality and aged care.

- A university degree in IT or similar;

- Java programming skills;

- SQL database skills;

- An ability to work to deadlines; and

- A desire to work in a smart, inspired team where you can feel some ownership of what you do

We think fast, move fast, and enjoy an enthusiastic, collaborative environment. We're into open source software and use an Apache foundation, Asterisk, and RedHat Linux to name a few. Other technologies we use include MySQL, XML, JSON, Tomcat, IntelliJ, Hibernate, Informix/Oracle, iOS and Android. We work on Macs, though no problem if you haven't before, as long as you're happy to learn.

We're looking for someone enthusiastic, proactive, and interested in jumping onboard with us now to contribute to our current projects as well as stick around to have a hand in our future innovations.
