Your role

As the Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be supporting our largest business platform and workforce segment in Independent Assisted Living (IAL). IAL operates nationally and has the largest and diverse people services business spanning across specialised business units in Home Community Care, Retirement Villages, Allied Health and Clinical, Tele Health, Disability Services and Indigenous health services.

You will join our talented value add Operational Insights teams and manage the extraction, manipulation, cleaning, testing, reporting and visualisation of data from primary sources, whilst identifying patterns and trends in data sets.

You will be tasked with providing guidance, direction and technical solutions for the extraction, manipulation and analysis of data from required data sources using tools such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau or equivalent software.

Collaborating with your new team members within Operational Insights, you will work on existing or special projects and advise on the development of queries, determine sample selection, and interpret findings based on data. Further, you will:
  • Identify opportunities, develop data mining queries, and deliver analysis support.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and associated.
  • Maintain continuous professional development and training to remain abreast of current BI practices and techniques.

Technically, you will hold:
  • Multiple years' experience in in data extraction, cleaning, testing and data.
  • Maintain solid working appreciation of SQL Server and SAP, and ETL framework and ETL tools.
