We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work at a small rural hospital in a vibrant Avon Valley community.

York is the oldest inland town in Western Australia and is on Ballardong Noongar land. This picturesque town is next to the Avon River and features many historic buildings and cafes, plus education and recreation facilities for families.

The York Hospital provides 24 hour emergency care, inpatient services, ambulatory care and residential aged care services. As part of the WACHS Wheatbelt region, professional development and career progression opportunities are available.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have previous Shift Co-ordinator experience
  • Have previous emergency department experience
  • Hold triage competency (Preferably WACHS)
  • Be able to work full-time hours across all shift types
  • Be able to be included on an on-call roster

This vacancy may be filled as a Casual, Permanent or Fixed Term appointment at various hours to be negotiated with the manager. Fixed Term appointments include the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
