About the role

The Clinical Nurse works in conjunction with the clinical manager to ensure optimal utilisation of resources and factors relating to quality, efficacy and cost-effectiveness planning in the delivery, and evaluation of current evidence-based practice.

The successful applicant will be team focused, working both autonomously and within the team, directly reporting to the clinical manager. Our department offers both a supportive and dynamic work environment with a range of clinical anaesthetic specialties.

  • The requirement to act in the role of clinical manager when required.

What you bring

  • Current AHPRA registration and the ability to work as a senior registered anaesthetic nurse.
  • Post graduate qualification in anaesthetics is highly desirable.
  • Great customer service.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing issues and practices relating to anaesthetic nursing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk management and WH&S.
  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • Current ALS and PLS is desirable.
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and build a cohesive team through coaching and mentoring.
