About the role

This rewarding role supporting our clients with a range of support services including Disability Services, Respite, Personal Care, and Domestic Assistance to enable independence, improve social connections and promote positive health and well-being in both the community and clients homes. Due to a growth in demand clients to assist with female hygiene personal services we are encouraging women applicants for these roles.

As a Support Worker you will have 24/7 support from our Head Office Support Team (including clinical services), regular access to your supervisor and team meetings, attractive salary packaging options, access to an Employee Assistance program and opportunities to participate in and be rewarded through our Employee Recognition program.

What you bring 

  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Disability Individual Support
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence, reliable insured motor vehicle and smart mobile phone/device
  • Computer literacy and access to emails/internet
  • Flexible availability to cover a range of shifts across the week especially between 7am and 7pm
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
  • DCSI in disability(if obtained before February 1, 2021) or willingness to obtain NDIS worker screening.
  • Valid Working with Childrens Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in Australia is essential
