About the facility

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) provides high quality best practice assessment and treatment to women and their families in the perinatal period, infants, children and adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties. CAMHS is a dynamic and hardworking team who value the work of a skilled Administrative Officer.

Health services available through Barwon Health cover the full spectrum from primary care, community services, aged care, rehabilitation, mental health, emergency and acute care. With the exception of neurosurgery and transplantation, virtually all other specialties are available through University Hospital.

About the role

In this role you will provide clerical, secretarial and receptionist services to CAMHS. You will undertake reception duties, data reporting, secretarial and word processing services.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • An excellent knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent keyboard skills

  • Competence in the use of office equipment including photocopiers, facsimile machines, scanners, electronic switchboard and computers

  • Able to communicate with all internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner

  • Apply principles of confidentiality and patient privacy

  • Ability to organise tasks and work environment efficiently with minimal supervision and under conditions of competing demands
