We’re seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Nurse to provide care to our community clients in Maryborough!

You’ll have the opportunity to lead and inspire your team providing supervision, guidance and mentorship, through your effective decision making and clinical experience. You’ll provide exceptional care whilst responding to clinical nursing issues and concerns.

With their wellbeing always in mind, you’ll review client care and care plans promoting independence & quality of life, making a real difference to the quality of care we deliver. This includes:

• Development, implementation, monitoring and review of care plans
• Comprehensive and accurate assessment of residents
• Assisting with the orientation of new staff and ongoing professional development
• Support in ensuring the service meets all accreditation standards

What you’ll need:

You’ll be an experienced clinician, with considerable experience within an acute or aged care environment. You’ll be an advocate for person-centred care, leading by example through exceptional communication and customer service. You’ll present with:

• Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent qualification
• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience coordinating care provision within a large team
• Confidence to manage conflict, pressures and competing priorities
• Ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to other team members

Supporting our clients in the best way possible is important to us. To be employed by Blue Care, you will be required to complete the free NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement and provide a copy of your certificate on completion.

Selection Criteria Desirable: Do you hold a current Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate to practice in the State where employed? i.e. AHPRA registration
Desirable: Do you hold a current Australian Driver's License and have access to a road worthy vehicle?
Desirable: Do you have experience in leading, coaching and mentoring a team?
Desirable: Do you have extensive general nursing experience and can demonstrate skills reflective of clinical experience?
Desirable: Do you have full Australian working entitlements as an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident OR New Zealand Citizen?
