Role

As a member of our scheduling team your primary responsibility is to ensure requests for temporary staff are filled efficiently and with the most effective use of staff resources using effective rostering within the Carers Plus system.

Key Responsibilities of this role:
Scheduling temporary staff as per customer request and preferences.
Recording of scheduled shifts in the scheduling system.
Ensure scheduling of staff members is logistically sound and provides efficient and effective use of staffing resources.
Attending to day to day rescheduling to cover unplanned changes in staff availability, including sick leave, personal leave and emergency replacement or backfilling requirements.
Ensure rosters are regularly reviewed to meet key service indicators.
Ensure effective use of staff availability through job allocation.
Ensure appropriate compatibility of staff with clients and service users with consideration given to skills, cultural and lifestyle preferences.

To be successful in this role you will need

Minimum 2 years of Scheduling experience.
Have strong administration skills with a high level of attention to detail
Experience using roster / scheduling systems
Excellent customer service skills.
Hands on approach, work with a sense of urgency, be able to apply a logical thought process and remain composed under pressure.
Be approachable to their team and clients, provide solutions and build rapport with all parties.
Have a high level of computer literacy
Enjoy a fast paced working environment
Experience in aged care, community support or disability sectors would be an advantage
