Position Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist, Grade 2
Employment Type: Permanent/ Full Time
Hours per week: 38 hours per week
Position Grade: Clinical Nurse Specialist, Grade 2 (Year 1 & 2)
Salary: $100746.38 - $104054.50 annual

Position Summary:

A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated CNS2 with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care. The CNS2 performs an integral clinical leadership and oversight role at Rankin Court Treatment Centre, within St Vincent’s Alcohol and Drug Service. The successful applicant will be expected to be able to provide high quality evidence-based interventions for people who use substances and are clients at Rankin Court Treatment Centre. .

Selection Criteria:

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
3. Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification
4. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team at a senior level
5. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
6. Demonstrated effective computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
7. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse
8. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment
