Mater Patient Accommodation is currently seeking a Patient Accommodation Assistant to join our team on a part time basis. In this role you will provide a high level of operational support and exceptional customer service to our Patients and their Carers at Mater Hill Place and Reg Leonard House.

Salary: Operational Officer - Level 2.1 $26.58 per hour plus superannuation.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Greet and welcome guests
• Create accommodation bookings using Guest Centrix PMS Hotel Management System
• Check in/check out guests
• Receipt payments within Guest Centrix and EFTPOS terminal
• Organise Patient transport to Hospital appointments
• Monitor and respond to emails
• Answer telephone
• Send and receive invoices
• Prepare housekeeping schedule
• Service and Clean units
• Order and distribute linen
• Register maintenance issues
• Liaise with Qld Health staff for Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme purposes
• Assist Manager with stock levels and ordering

To be considered for this position applicants should have:

• Prior experience in a hotel, hospital or aged care environment
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience using property management software
• Demonstrated customer service skills
