Based in Parramatta, you will help drive volunteer engagement and recruitment and support the Volunteer team provide this key service to the business.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Drive volunteer recruitment
    • Screening volunteer enquiries
    • Matching volunteer leads to business opportunities
    • Supporting new volunteers to complete their onboarding (including background checks)
    • Managing the recruitment process through PageUp, Uniting’s recruitment tool
  • Managing the volunteer team’s shared mailbox
  • Supporting Uniting’s volunteer advisory group

Skills and experience:

  • Experience with volunteer management or recruitment
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating projects or programs
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills and highly service orientated
