The Role

The position available is Profit Centre Sales Manager Ballina, covering both Sales and some Operational responsibilities.

The role reports through to the PC Manager in conjunction with the Northern NSW Regional Manager

Purpose and deliver profitable sales of the companies products and services through the Ballina Profit Centre to the Northern Rivers area by the achievement of budgeted sales and gross margin. The Sales manager is responsible for External sales– To mana to Aged Care & Hospitals, Sales to Community & Rahab clients, Complex Rehab sales, Customer service, , Service technicians - Co-ordinating with the PC Manager for Warehousing, Dispatch, and Delivery, and ensuring they all work together in a friendly, enthusiastic, efficient and safe manner to deliver service to our customers.
Provide Sales Leadership and have regular relationship contact with key customers, prospective key customers, and Therapists across the region in support of your sales staff
You will spend time in the field with your sales staff to help reinforce and grow our key commercial relationships
Remain focused on sales and sales growth in key product lines and drive training and promotion on these in the region to deliver strong commerce and steady growth
Operate in a friendly, enthusiastic, efficient, and constructive manner to provide superior customer service experience and Sales satisfaction to our customers and staff alike
Provide feedback, direction & strategy in response to monthly reports & general enquiries
Participate in regional monthly meetings, conferences, exhibitions & supplier meetings as required
You will be responsible for coordinating with the National Contracts Manager to deliver on all Contracts in the region
Provide market intelligence on supply, competitors, trends, and pricing to the Regional Manager.
Manage prices, margins, and updates in order to ensure budgeted gross margin objectives are met
Assist with the compilation of annual sales budgets, sales forecast reviews and business plans in line with company formats and requirements
Ensure Showroom presentation, floor stock and customer service are at the highest level.
Manage the sales staff needs and requirements in the Ballina branch in conjunction with the PC manager.
Co-ordinate with the PC Manager to plan local inventory levels to provide adequate local availability in all key product lines.

If you have previously been in the healthcare industry in a sales management role that is an advantage.

However, if you have been in some other sales management role in a similar environment and you feel you are the right candidate and are passionate about providing successful customer experience outcomes and leading a sales team focused on customers both externally and internally, and you are prepared to put in the time & effort with product training then we would like to hear from you.
