The Role:
- Coordination of quality support services to adults with disabilities, including development, implementation and review of individual support plans.
- Thorough understanding of Positive Behavioural Support Plans a MUST
- Line Management and Coordination of Two Team Leaders
- Coordination of resources, and supporting our clients through excellence in Service Delivery at all times
- Ongoing policy and procedure development and implementation.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate would have experience in managing both program development and implementation within an adult disability support service. Additionally they will have experience in managing support worker and volunteer staff including recruitment and training. Finally they must possess the following:
- Self motivated and driven. Someone who is looking to progress their career into management roles in the future.
- Developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate and risk manage
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of NDIS and related policy and procedures that inform all NDIS programs
- Caring with a commitment to our clients.
- Must be able to work effectively and deliver services in a timely manner
- Able to prioritise with excellent organisational skills due to multifaceted role
- Able to maintain Monthly Appraisals
- Able to adapt with high attention to detail
Qualifications and Probity
- Bachelor or Completed Diploma in Disability Support or related field
- NDIS Worker Clearance Check
- First Aid and CPR
- National Police Check
Salary is $80,000 - $85,000 - Start required as soon as possible to ensure thorough handover with current Coordinator
