About the Role

Our residential care team in Broome is looking for a Registered Nurse & Enrolled Nurse to lead and coordinate the delivery of client-focused care.

As one of our valued Nurses, you'll get to use your clinical knowledge and skills to provide quality services for our residents. You will be part of a dedicated and close-knit team that provides tailored care that can be adjusted to meet our clients’ changing needs.

Working as an Enrolled Nurse, you’ll undertake tasks that include wound care and administering medication.

As a Registered Nurse, we'll also be asking you to:
  • Undertake ACFI-related activities such as assessments & admissions.
  • Assess client health needs - care planning, clinical governance & documentation.
  • Develop tailored care plans in consultation with clients' family & health professionals.
  • Consult with senior staff & medical practitioners to ensure best outcomes for our clients.
About You

With a couple of years’ nursing experience under your belt, you may already be working in aged care. Or, perhaps you've been contemplating a move into the aged care sector.

It's no secret that working in aged care can be challenging and stressful, but once you settle in, you'll truly appreciate knowing that you've made a genuine difference in the quality of our residents' lives.

We're a small but supportive team, and this goes a long way to ensure that we can manage our busy schedules, whilst sharing some laughs and banter.

Success in this role, and job satisfaction will be greatly ensured if you have:
  • A genuine desire to work in aged care.
  • An understanding of Commonwealth Aged Care Standards, Aged Care Act & Quality of Care Principles.
  • Some knowledge of ACFI requirements.
  • Confidence to work independently and effectively prioritise.
  • A good eye for detail & resilience to multi task whilst under pressure.
  • Great interpersonal & communication skills.
