About The Role

Programmed Health Professionals are a leading provider of health care staff in Australia. We are currently recruiting for a Disability Support Worker for ongoing community shifts. We are seeking a reliable and punctual individual who can display a solid work ethic and can work comfortably with children.

Our client is a male adolescent based in the Redland shire, who requires support 5 days per week.

This is mainly a companion-based role and is all about fun.

• Shifts are ongoing and will be: Mon/Tue/Thurs/Friday between 2.30pm - 4.30pm, Mon - Fri 7am - 8am and a 3-hour shift on a Saturday.
• The afternoon shifts will will include picking the client up from school, trips to the park, outings, adventures and fun times.

As the successful applicant it is essential that you hold a full Australian Drivers licence (Green P or Open) and own an insured/reliable car.

What You Need To Have

• Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support or Individual Support
• Minimum 6 months of recent disability experience
• Current Employee Blue Card/Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening
• Current Australian drivers' licence and reliable vehicle
• National Police Check (Current within 12 months)
• Current First Aid and CPR
