About The Role
Programmed Health Professionals are a leading provider of health care staff in Australia. We are currently recruiting for a Disability Support Worker for ongoing community shifts. We are seeking a reliable and punctual individual who can display a solid work ethic and can work comfortably with children.
Our client is a male adolescent based in the Redland shire, who requires support 5 days per week.
This is mainly a companion-based role and is all about fun.
- Shifts are ongoing and will be: Mon/Tue/Thurs/Friday between 2.30pm - 4.30pm, Mon - Fri 7am - 8am and a 3-hour shift on a Saturday.
- The afternoon shifts will will include picking the client up from school, trips to the park, outings, adventures and fun times.
What You Need To Have
- Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support or Individual Support
- Minimum 6 months of recent disability experience
- Current Employee Blue Card/Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening
- Current Australian drivers' licence and reliable vehicle
- National Police Check (Current within 12 months)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- You love working with children
- You are reliable and committed
- Live local to Redland Bay or surrounding suburbs
- Dedicated team available 7 days a week to support you
- On-going casual roster with set client
- Great hourly rates paid weekly
