Speech Pathologist (Grade 2 & Grade 3)

Available are part-time Speech Pathology roles (various) in adult and paediatric services.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

01.Maintain compliance with the Bendigo Health Allied Health credentialing and professional practice standards policy (see attached table), including evidence of eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and the SPA Professional Self Regulation (PSR) program.

Essential:

02.Post graduate qualifications in a field relevant to Speech Pathology, and/or demonstrated performance at a level which clearly indicates clinical leadership in the field (grade 3 applicants)

Desirable:

03.Demonstrated ability to coordinate high quality Speech Pathology service and provide professional and clinical leadership

Desirable:

04.Demonstrated experience/expertise in adult dysphagia and/or paediatric feeding assessment and management including the administration and interpretation of videofluoroscopy. Experience with FEES is desirable

Desirable:

05.Demonstrated experience/expertise in the screening, assessment and management of adult and/or paediatric voice, communication and cognition

Desirable:

06.Proven ability to support, develop, lead and supervise grade 2 and/or 1 staff and assistants and provide high quality clinical education

Desirable:

07.Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development of self and others

Desirable:

08.Demonstrated capacity to initiate and lead service development activities drawing on evidence based practice
