Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a professional, organised and customer & team focused Security Services Manager at Rouse Hill Town Centre. You will oversee and manage the operations of the security team, delivering a high level of safety and security to the site, as well as strong customer service. The successful candidate will need to be available to work Monday to Friday 8am-4pm and Saturday's 9am-5pm.

You will be responsible for:

  • Participating as an active member of the security services team and lead/manage these personnel.
  • Managing a large team of security team members and provide strong leadership, coaching, mentoring and inspiration to your teams to deliver the Assetlink Way.
  • Becoming a trusted partner and subject matter expert (SME) for the Client for your area of responsibility.
  • Managing the security team
  • Attending and participate in regular meetings with Client and/or Stakeholders to report on performance related KPI's and operational issues.
  • Proactively anticipating issues and closing out accordingly.
  • Identifying opportunities to provide innovation and value-add for the client to assist with current and future needs.
  • Overseeing all financial & budget services, including scheduling labour and implementing cost savings measures.
  • Contractor Management
  • Undertaking staff training and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements;
Desired Skills and Experience

To be considered for the position you must have:
  • Client relationship management ability.
  • Comprehensive employee relations experience coupled with strong influencing skills
  • Strong knowledge of the security industry, including best practice to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
  • Influencing & relationship development skills.
  • Capacity to proactively deal with issues and their causes.
  • High standards of personal grooming, presentation and professional conduct.
  • Demonstrating passion and commitment whilst understanding the importance of delivering customer service to the highest standard.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to motivate your team.
  • Experience in managing a team and performance management.
  • Ability to work irregular/extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
  • Ability to give direction and instruction to people.
  • Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Can-do attitude with high energy.
  • Competent computer skills are an absolute necessity.
  • Familiar with OHS practices and legislation
