Position Summary

Speech Pathologist (Grade 3) - Paediatric

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team. This is a new part time role fixed until June 30th 2023. We are seeking someone with expertise in the field of paediatrics, a passion for excellent care and commitment to development of self and others.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

01.Maintain compliance with the Bendigo Health Allied Health credentialing and professional practice standards policy (see attached table), including evidence of eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and the SPA Professional Self Regulation (PSR) program.

Essential:

02.Post graduate qualifications in a field relevant to Speech Pathology, and/or demonstrated performance at a level which clearly indicates clinical leadership in the field of Speech Pathology and paediatrics

Desirable:

03.Demonstrated clinical expertise in comprehensive triage/screening, assessment, intervention and management of feeding and communication for infant/paediatric clients

Desirable:

04.Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate high quality Speech Pathology services and provide clinical leadership and consultancy in Speech Pathology

Desirable:

05.Proven capacity to initiate, lead and deliver robust service development

Desirable:

06.Proven ability to support, develop, lead and supervise grade 2 and 1 staff and assistants and provide high quality clinical education to students

Desirable:

07.Proven ability to deliver patient and family centred care

Desirable:

08.High level of organisation and time management

Desirable:

09.Demonstrated commitment to delivering best practice care through ongoing professional development of self and others
