Seeking an experienced Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our Bunbury team! (Weekend work involved)

Workplace Location

Regis Bunbury is a 95 bed aged care facility offering ageing-in-place and specialist dementia care in single rooms with en suite and features services such as an on-site cook, religious services, residents’ library, hairdressing salon, and a wellness clinic. Regis Bunbury offers a Family Room for when a loved one is in palliative care. Equipped with a sofa bed, tea & coffee making facilities and a pamper trolley, this private room offer space and comfort for families.

About the role

We currently have an opportunity for a Receptionist to join the team at our Regis Bunbury home. The position involves weekend work. Previous experience in Healthcare Administration is desirable. This position will suit someone who is outgoing, friendly and who relates well to the elderly. It requires someone with an excellent phone manner and IT Skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

Duties & Responsibilities

Answering all telephone enquiries
Maintain files and documentation
General typing and data entry
Stationery ordering and petty cash management
Assisting with staff rosters and training schedules
Ensure efficient operation of the front reception area
Assisting with visitor enquiries and conducting home tours

Skills & Experience

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in an autonomous capacity
Strong accuracy and data entry skills
PC literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel)
Ability to learn internal software systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding communication, telephone and customer service skills
Experience working within a busy and constantly changing environment
Bright and friendly demeanour, with a willingness to assist with all customer and resident enquiries

Mandatory requirements for all candidates

Evidence that you have had the 2020 Flu Vaccination or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered (VIC & QLD currently exempt)*
Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
Valid National Police Check (Full disclosure or standard disclosure)
