About the role

  • Delivering personalised support to our clients in one-on-one setting. This will be in the client’s home, or in the neighbourhood, including attending appointments, shopping, recreation activities, sporting activities, etc;
  • Assisting clients with personal care and administering medication, Incontinence;
  • Assisting with domestic duties around the home, including meal preparation, cleaning, washing, etc;
  • Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community.

Must haves:

- FLUENT ENGLISH

- EXPERIENCE IN THE DISABILITY SECTOR, AGED CARE, DRUG AND ALCOHOL SERVICES, OR WITH BEHAVIOURS OF CONCERN**

Availability for morning, afternoon and Passive overnight shifts

  • Empathy, compassion and patience;
  • MUST speak Clear English and have good communication skills;
  • A professional attitude towards work, accountable, reliable and have a high level of motivation;
  • Thrive in a team based environment, where everyone pitches in to help;
  • A current SA Driver’s Licence (P2 minimum) and access to a car;
  • Must have (or willing to obtain prior to starting), a current First Aid Certificate, CPR & Working with Children Check;
  • Availability for a minimum 8 to 38 hours.
  • Medication Training
  • Manual Handling Certificate

  • Catheter Care Knowledge
  • Diabetes knowledge
  • Brain Injury knowledge
