About The Organisation

Set within beautiful grounds in the seaside suburb of Hove, Alwyndor delivers on-site residential living, therapy and wellness services.

About The Role

We are inviting applications from experienced Personal Care Workers to join our our team of dedicated carers in delivering person-centred care to our wonderful residents. You will provide care to your residents supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

  • Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times & general mobility
  • Providing care in accordance with care plan
  • Supporting with recreational and social activities

About You

In order to be successful you will need:
  • At least 12 months experience in residential care
  • Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support, Home & Community Care or Disability
  • Assist clients with Medication module or willing to obtain
  • First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Flexible across 7 days
  • Working Rights in Australia
  • Evidence of 2020 flu vaccination
We are looking for genuine, caring individuals that are committed to providing consistent, professional and effective level of support to our residents. You must be able to clearly communicate, build genuine relationships with the residents, team and other staff and ensure a high level of dignity is maintained when providing personal care. We have morning, afternoon and evening shifts available 7 days per week.

You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
