Customer Service Officer (CSO)

We currently have an exciting employment opportunity for a passionate and experienced Customer Service Officer to join our Dalkeith Gardens site located in Traralgon. You can find out more about Dalkeith Gardens here https://www.benetas.com.au/residential-aged-care. This position is permanent part time. The successful applicant will provide a friendly and welcoming “front of house” approach to residents, families, visitors and staff.

The primary responsibilities of the position include:

  • Organisation of work to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Provide front of house customer service to the residents, families, visitors and staff
  • Conduct orientation tours of the site when delegated by the manager
  • Perform reception / switchboard and administrative duties to meet customer needs
  • Maintain office inventory and records
  • Submit resident admission, discharge and variation information
  • Produce written reports from financial and administrative management systems when required
  • Work as part of a team, but also autonomously when required and in line with the policies of Benetas
  • Create genuine connections and empathise with residents, families and staff

To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration (or a similar qualification) is desirable
  • Previous experience in administrative support or customer service
  • Experience working in Aged Care is desirable
  • Experience in rosters and accounts and aged care systems (highly regarded)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and various computer systems
  • A high attention to detail, accuracy and effective time management skills
  • You are friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Shows empathy and treats others with dignity and respect
  • Willing to undergo a police check
