Position Summary:
A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Clinical Neuropsychologist with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care. The successful applicant will be expected to be able to provide clinical neuropsychological assessment and treatment services to adults with a diverse range of neurological conditions(including cerebrovascular disorders, traumatic brain injury, hypoxic brain damage, Parkinson’s and encephalitis) within the Medical Rehabilitation Inpatient and Outpatients services, at St Joseph’s Hospital.

Selection Criteria
  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia Masters Degree / Clinical Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology or other recognised clinical area in psychology that is deemed relevant.
  • Current AHPRA registration and endorsement in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology or eligible to progress to same.
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s licence or equivalent.
  • Neuropsychological expertise specific to a rehabilitation population an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
