An exciting opportunity exists to join the Shoalhaven Transitional Aged Care Service (STACS) team at Shoalhaven Hospital. We are seeking an experienced and talented Occupational Therapist to cover maternity relief until April 2022 with the ppossibility of extension at same/reduced hours. Previous applicants need not apply.

What you'll be doing

Provide a high quality occupational therapy service to clients and carers, to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the clients of the service.

May be required to work a 7 day rotating roster and may include weekend work. May be required to work at any of the ISLHD sites.

Selection Criteria:

  • Current registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board, AHPRA.
  • Current class C NSW drivers licence or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated high-level written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in occupational therapy practice and the provision of services to a broad range of consumer groups.
  • Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills.
  • Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence based practice to occupational therapy.
