As one of the largest health services in Victoria, and a team of more than 10,000 strong, we provide a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services; as well as rehabilitation, aged care, outpatient and community programs. We are a designated state-wide provider for services including trauma, and we lead centres of excellence for tertiary services in several key specialties including neurosciences, nephrology, oncology, cardiology and virtual health.



Your new team



Our People & Culture team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is passionate about providing our employees with the best possible employee experience. We are looking for a personable and forward thinking HR Officer to join our Recruitment Services team and assist in the delivery of our recruitment and employee services to the organisation.



This role has a large focus on contract administration and data entry of employee information into our payroll system.



  • Facilitate employee on-boarding and pre-employment checks

  • Enter and update employee information into HR systems

  • First point of contact for employee enquiries and requests

  • Prepare employment contracts in line with relevant EBAs and legislation

  • Provide administrative assistance for large recruitment campaigns

  • Support various process improvement initiatives and projects


Your Contribution



  • Experience in HR administration or Officer role

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proven admin experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to manage competing demands to deadlines

  • System savy: exposure to HRIS and excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • A service orientation with the ability to build strong and credible relationships
