Part/Full Time - 3 month Fixed Term Opportunities

Your new team
We are looking for passionate and dedicated ANUMs to join our Melbourne Health team as a ANUM - COVID Vaccination Hub for 3 months PT/FT Fixed Term positions. This is based across our vaccination hubs here at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (Staff) and at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Wharf (community hub).
Shifts are managed by the NUM and allocated according to organisational need.
ANUM - COVID Vaccination Hub works under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager and liaise with Melbourne Health Bank staff, MH Bank Manager, MH Bank Nurse Coordinator, Project Manager COVID Vaccination Campaign, Project Support Coordinators, Nursing Education, MH Multidisciplinary Teams, Parkville Precinct Partners, consumers and carers of consumers.
Your success in this role, will be in your ability to
Clinical Governance; providing patients and the community safe, timely, effective, person-centred health care (STEP)
Maintaining a high standard of care; demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills relevant to your level of expertise
Delivering patient centred care; providing high quality of patient care by performing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for care in collaboration with the patient, carer and the multidisciplinary team
Maintaining health and safety standards; managing risk and actively working towards implementing risk reduction strategies
Speaking up for Safety; raising concerns about safety in a respectful manner
The opening and closing procedure of Vaccination Hubs
Direction of floor staff; Including day to day operations, roster management and clinical liaison with staff. Assessing and escalating operations around booking cancellations and optimising use of COVID Vaccines.
Your Contribution
Formal Qualifications:
Casual Registered Nurse
Bachelor of Nursing
Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), General with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Essential:
Recent ANUM experience, or looking to step up into a nursing management role.
Minimum 3 years acute nursing experience
You are an influential leader with a track record of driving change across a complex health care environment.
Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team
Demonstrated provision of high quality patient care
Developed assessment, clinical reasoning, problem solving and prioritisation skills
High motivation and willingness to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of reliability and professional conduct
Non-Essential:
Post Graduate Qualification in any nursing specialty would be highly regarded (i.e. Cardiothoracic, renal etc.)
