As we continue to grow so do the needs of our esteemed clients. To that, we have established the need for a casual Therapeutic Support Worker to complement our provisions including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Therapy Assistance and Behaviour.

The position:

As a Support Worker you will deliver high quality care services to our clients, this includes but is not limited to:

  • Assisting in day to day care needs to help them live as independently as possible and support them in reaching their potential.
  • Assist with activities of daily living
  • Apply therapeutic recommendations
  • The Support Worker function will be servicing our clients Monday till Friday and possibly evenings and weekends. This is a casual role and suitable candidates will be available to work a set roster across the span of the working week'

The type of care you provided will be tailored to the needs of the individual. It is an incredibly varied and rewarding role as you will be helping vulnerable people to improve their quality of life, achieve their goals and make a very real and positive difference.

What is required:

  • A passion for helping, and commitment to the organisation goals and vision.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in the field
  • A professional mindset and genuine care for the clients we service
  • Proficient English with both written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently in the client’s environment with the support of a team
  • Your own vehicle, comprehensive insurance and a full driver’s license as we operate as a mobile clinic visiting homes, community centres, schools, and social care settings.
  • Education in Disability, Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Current National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
