About our client:
Our client is a provider of premium disability and aged care services. Their purpose is to be the best quality NDIS, disability and aged care provider in Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all participants and clients in their designated region.
- Maintain professional relationship with participants /clients and their family.
- Understand the needs, Goals and small achievements needed.
- Provide suitable qualified staff from MLC pool or seek staff from your reports to provide the staff.
- Area supervisors to develop rosters of care of each participant in their region.
- They must sign off on the roster of care and delivery of care for payroll and invoicing. This is a critical part of their function.
- Area Supervisors to share an after-hours roster one week on and 3 weeks off as part of their function for now.
- Ensure staff working in your region, have had their induction in MLC.
- They have had suitable training to ensure quality delivery of care either before commencing care or whilst they commenced care.
- Staff to be provided ongoing training and have ongoing review process.
- The training and review to be supported by tools provided by Centre Support.
- Develop local housing requirements, supported by CS Property and Housing division.
- Area Supervisor's to provide logistic support for travel and grocery's etc for individual participants or in our group homes.
- All protocols/training and management of the house to be maintained by the supervisors.
- Area Supervisors to interact with NDIS, Support Coordinators and other Allied health and health clinicians on a need to basis to provide quality care, develop goals achievements and reports as required by any party.
- Area supervisors must take part in ongoing learning and development and training when stipulated or requested by their supervisor.
- Area supervisors to keep communication and share experiences within their team to learn and develop. All supervisors to meet on a monthly basis, but fortnightly for the first three months of their induction into the role.
- They must maintain confidentiality at all times and guard the company intellectual property and prevent any breach of information or poaching of staff to a third party.
- Area Supervisors must at all time adhere, teach respect values of the company and continue to promote the company in their respective regions.
The perfect candidate will have:
Previous experience in the health industry as a Disability support worker, aged care worker or nursing.
Police check/Working with children check and other relevant qualification.
Driver's licence and availability to drive to visit clients and group homes.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend
