Clinical Services Manager

Our client has restructured its management team to include x2 Clinical Services Manager (CSM) roles to support their 140-resident facility in Sydney Eastern Suburbs. The x2 CSM will work together on a daily basis and report directly to the Director- Aged Care.

Position Summary
You will lead a team of RNs, AINs, Lifestyle Team Members & the Workforce Planning Co-Ordinator to support holistic clinical care and governance of a cohort of residents ensuring quality person-centred care aligned to the requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Legislation is achieved.

Our Clients 154 bed purpose-built facility is centred on a tranquil, garden courtyard, loved by residents, the building is heritage-listed and retains its original facade. Fully refurbished, extended and adapted for aged care, it retains a feeling of real character with a homely atmosphere.

Essential Criteria
3 years nursing experience in Aged Care Management
Post Tertiary Qualification in specialties Aged Care of Nursing Management, Dementia Care, Palliative Care or Gerontology would be advantageous

Leadership Skills
Proven leadership and coaching skills to drive quality resident outcomes and improvements in clinical care.
A genuine passion and commitment to provide excellence in service/care delivery.
Demonstrated experience in understanding and application of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Demonstrated understanding and implementation of person centred and relationship-based care principles.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of risk management principles and the ability to initiate and implement quality programs to improve resident outcomes.
Demonstrated professional/positive behaviour, including cultural sensitivity and respect.
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team to achieve goals.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal clients and stakeholders.
