Regis Sandgate Lucinda

Regis Sandgate – Lucinda is part of a delightful community oasis within a beautiful sought-after suburb. This high-quality, well-appointed, supportive community is dedicated to providing the best in contemporary aged care. Regis Sandgate – Lucinda is accessible by public transport with close proximity to shops, restaurants, library, post office, Ibis Central Shopping Mall and Sandgate Aquatic Centre.

Part of our Sandgate complex, Regis Sandgate – Lucinda offers 162 single rooms, all with en suites. There are 24 places dedicated to providing a secure but stimulating environment for those living with dementia.

About the role

As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you have a vital role to play in delivering the lifestyle programs and ensuring that all residents are able to participate. This is a full time position based at our Regis Sandgate Lucinda home, working Monday to Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Liaise with residents and their families
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation of programs, reflecting any changes to residents status
  • Active participation in the delivery of activities
  • Carrying out lifestyle assessments of residents

Skills & Experience

  • Outstanding computer literacy and communication skills
  • Experience using a computerised Care Management System (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a Lifestyle Assistant / Coordinator position
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge regarding the ACFI framework (desirable)

Mandatory requirements for all candidates

  • Valid National Police Check (Full disclosure or standard disclosure)
  • Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
  • Evidence that you have had the 2020 Flu Vaccination or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered (VIC & QLD currently exempt)*

*Subject to change, as per the relevant State and Territory Public Health Orders.
