Care Leader (Home Care) - Full Time
Beata Homecare provides home care services to support the independence of elderly and disabled clients from various cultural backgrounds in Melbourne and the Bass Coast Region.
We have a great opportunity available for a full-time Care Leader role to support and coach our team of home care staff.
You will be based at our office in Braeside, Victoria.
What you need for this role:
- Previous experience in a team leader role in the aged care, disability or community services sector
- Proven leadership qualities and mentoring skills
- Passionate about building relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate level computer skills
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting coaching a team of remote direct care workers to ensure quality delivery of home-care services
- Monitoring and managing staff performance
- Maintaining staff engagement and promoting a positive culture
- On-site spot checks
- Monitoring staff compliance
- Conducting staff inductions
- Promoting and managing online training for staff
Other Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Victorian Drivers Licence
- National Police Check (within 3 months)
- First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
- CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
- NDIS Workers Screening check
Industrial knowledge and experience is a must across the regions
Must be willing to travel across the regions to support and train our support workers and direct care workers.
