Care Leader (Home Care) - Full Time

Beata Homecare provides home care services to support the independence of elderly and disabled clients from various cultural backgrounds in Melbourne and the Bass Coast Region.

We have a great opportunity available for a full-time Care Leader role to support and coach our team of home care staff.

You will be based at our office in Braeside, Victoria.

What you need for this role:

• Previous experience in a team leader role in the aged care, disability or community services sector
• Proven leadership qualities and mentoring skills
• Passionate about building relationships
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate level computer skills

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting coaching a team of remote direct care workers to ensure quality delivery of home-care services
• Monitoring and managing staff performance
• Maintaining staff engagement and promoting a positive culture
• On-site spot checks
• Monitoring staff compliance
• Conducting staff inductions
• Promoting and managing online training for staff

Other Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Victorian Drivers Licence
• National Police Check (within 3 months)
• First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
• CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
• NDIS Workers Screening check

Industrial knowledge and experience is a must across the regions

Must be willing to travel across the regions to support and train our support workers and direct care workers.
