An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative, inspiring and strategic leader to join our growing Pharmacy channel within our Nutrition division as the Regional Sales Manager based in Sydney.

Reporting into the Head of Sales for Pharmacy & Aged Care, your main objective is to drive profitable growth and achieve sales objectives through successful leadership and coaching of the field sales team across Australia.

Working closely with the sales team, your leadership, vision, direction and coaching will build on a strong customer-oriented culture and improve business performance ensuring all sales activities/initiatives are achieved and exceeded.

You will assist in the development of territory business plans and travel extensively to conduct regular field visits to coach and develop your team to ensure plans are implemented effectively.

Your role will also involve a close working relationship with marketing to ensure sales strategies are aligned and executed for sustained success of the business.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Significant commercial/sales experience that involved working closely with (retail) customers to deliver results
  • Minimum 2+ years sales leadership experience, with demonstrated success in motivating, coaching and developing people
  • Industry knowledge and experience in the Australian retail pharmacy channel within OTC/Fast Moving Consumer Good (FMCG)
  • Strong aptitude for acquiring technical and or scientific knowledge, consultative selling skills, and the ability to interpret and analyse data
  • Strong commercial acumen with sound business judgement, able to forecast, understand and manage P&L
  • Tertiary Qualifications in a Science, Business or Management discipline would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
