The Role
The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) role, based in Geelong, will be responsible for delivering clinical care under the guidance of allied health professionals. You will be part of the Allied Health team and report to the Occupational Therapy Manager. We will consider applicants able to offer full time hours or part time staff with view to job sharing this AHA role.
Casual opportunities also exist within the Allied Health Assistant workforce at Epworth Geelong.
You will have the opportunity to work within the:
Occupational therapy team
Physiotherapy team
Speech Therapy team
Outpatient team
Hydrotherapy service
To be successful
You will be an integral team player. Your positive and energetic approach to work coupled with you insight and initiative will enable you to deliver significant value in the hosptial environment. You will be confident communicating with people of all ages and will compassionately deliver clinical care as guided by relevant allied health professionals.
You will have-
Experience working in a hospital, aged care or community environment
Excellent communication skills
A flexible skillset and fabulous problem solving skills
