Applications are invited from qualified Grade 1 Social Workers to join our professional Social Work team at WHCG. The primary purpose of this position is to provide effective and efficient Social Work management of patients in a range of areas, including outpatients, acute, sub-acute, emergency and aged care areas. This fixed term full time position is available from May 2021, and includes working Monday to Friday. This is an opportunity to work within our innovative and dynamic Social Work Department and wider Allied Health team whilst upholding the Wimmera Health Care Group vision, purpose and values.

Key Selection Criteria include:

Essential:

• Degree in Social Work
• Eligible for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
• Current driver's licence
• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• Proficient use of information technology

Desirable:

• Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
