We are part of the St Vincent’s Health Australia group, Australia's largest not-for-profit health and aged care provider.

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane is a private Catholic not-for-profit hospital specialising in healthcare for people with chronic, complex and multiple health needs. Our services include general medicine, geriatric medicine, rehabilitation, pain management and palliative care.

About the role

We are seeking a customer service focused Allied Health Assistant to join our Allied Health Team on a casual basis. Working under the direction and supervision of our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, the Allied Health Assistant will support members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of care and create an exceptional experience for our patients.

Selection criteria

To be successful you will require:
Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or working towards an Allied Health related degree will be highly regarded

Experience in a similar role preferably within an acute or sub-acute hospital setting

Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently

Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with others quickly

Sound knowledge of safe work practices, in particular infection control and workplace health and safety

Intermediate computer literacy

Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekdays and weekends
