We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Executive Chef who will undertake responsibilities for the management and leadership of our Group Dining Services. You will be the driver of Allity’s Dining and Catering Framework, be the champion for our customers across our Homes to deliver the best resident dining experiences. You will build and foster compliant practices in line with Regulatory and Allity standards, as well as guide, support and build capabilities of our Food Services / Hospitality Teams.

The Corporate Executive Chef will be an integral part of our Customer and Communications Team. The role is based in our Allity Services office in Sydney, is close to public transport and importantly has a variety of great cafes at our doorstep.

Your Skills, Attributes:

  • Proven experience working in hospitality services in the area of catering services and restaurant dining
  • Demonstrated experience in operational management, people leadership & motivation, budgeting, service delivery
  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • Broad understanding of the legislation, regulations and requirements, and issues affecting aged care.
  • Commercial acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and remain highly motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication style – able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Internet) and relevant software products
  • High organisational skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Solutions focussed – excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Qualifications Required:


  • Cert IV Front Line Management
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management (Essential)
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (Essential)
  • Internal Food Safety Auditor (Cert)
  • Current drivers licence


  • Lead Food Safety Auditor (External)
  • Cook Chill Certification
  • OHS Consultation (or equivalent)
  • HACCP in Practice Certificate (or equivalent)

To be effective in this role, your time will be spent equally between the office and travelling to our homes.

The successful applicant will be required to provide/undertake a current police check prior to appointment.
