Centacare is the social services arm of the Archdiocese of Brisbane, which also includes Catholic parishes, Brisbane Catholic Education and a range of other Catholic agencies. Centacare is one of South East Queensland’s most respected providers of social services including disability support, in-home and community aged care, family and relationship services, pastoral services and childcare services through Catholic Early EdCare. Employing more than 3,200 people and volunteers across 200 locations throughout South East Queensland, Centacare helps create hope, opportunity and community connections for tens of thousands of people each year.

As Centacare and the community services sector continues to evolve we are now seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join the marketing team to help drive growth and adopt new ways to meet the needs of Centacare’s customers and deliver on the mission of the Catholic Church in South East Queensland communities.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a 12 month fixed-term position on a full-time basis and remuneration will be based under the Archdiocesan pay scale. This is an integral role within the Marketing and Engagement team for Centacare and the Archdiocese.

As the Marketing Specialist, you will work with the marketing team and across the broader organisation to position Centacare to establish and develop its valued market offering. You will liaise daily with colleagues in operational service delivery and work with them to deliver effective local area marketing initiatives.

You will work alongside experienced colleagues in a small, supportive team that has the opportunity to create significant change for the organisation and the people we support.

REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a person with relevant tertiary level qualifications, a minimum 3 years experience and a strong understanding of contemporary approaches and emerging trends in marketing, communication and engagement.

You will have demonstrated ability to develop and deliver marketing initiatives, great project management skills, strong written communication skills, proficiency in use of digital marketing systems and ability to use evidence to plan and evaluate the impact of marketing activities.
