About The Role

We are seeking a customer service focused Allied Health Assistant to join our Allied Health Team on a casual basis. Working under the direction and supervision of our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, the Allied Health Assistant will support members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of care and create an exceptional experience for our patients.

Selection criteria

To Be Successful You Will Require

• Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or working towards an Allied Health related degree will be highly regarded
• Experience in a similar role preferably within an acute or sub-acute hospital setting
  
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently
  
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with others quickly
  
• Sound knowledge of safe work practices, in particular infection control and workplace health and safety
  
• Intermediate computer literacy
  
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekdays and weekends
