GENERAL PRACTITIONER - Toowoomba

Toowoomba is located about 130 kilometers west of Brisbane and is known as the Garden City, as it hosts the annual Carnival of Flowers festival each year in September. Toowoomba is the largest rural city in Queensland with a population of approximately 135,000 people. Schooling is exceptional and has many choices for private and public students. There is a University, and a TAFE campus for further education.

Toowoomba is quickly becoming a multi cultural hub, with newly settled Australians and refugee being accepted into the local community.

We are a large practice located in the Toowoomba CBD. We attend to all areas of general practice such as:

• Womens Health
• Mens Health
• Refugee Health
• Chronic Disease Management - 2 dedicated practice nurses attend to plans
• Childhood Medicine
• Skin Procedures
• Aged Care

All of our doctors are from various backgrounds, enhancing our ability to accommodate the healthcare needs of long standing patients and newly settled Australians and have 6 languages spoken in house. We are a mixed billing practice, with a well equipped treatment room.

The ideal candidate would be passionate about healthcare, and provide the very best for patients from all walks of life. Preferably the candidate would be able to speak Arabic and/or Kurdish Kamange, as we have a large patient base speaking these languages.

We are able to take international medical graduates, and are flexible with either employing a doctor, or have a service agreement in place with a percentage rate.
