Practice Information: Central CBD practice which is busy and has a welcoming team. State of the art bulk billing general medical centre, open extended hours 7 days per week. This centre allows patients to walk in, however priority is given to those who require immediate medical attention. Home visits, hospital visits and nursing home visits are available via appointment. Pathology is onsite and a pharmacy is located within the Shopping Centre. Best Practice is the software used at this Medical Centre. Hours:
Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 8:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9am to 5:00pm
Cairns is located in Northern Queensland on the Great Barrier Reef and near the Daintree Rainforest region. It has universities, hospitals and wonderful tropical climate all year round. It has everything a big city has in a beautiful tropical location. Many of the doctors who live and work here, would not live anywhere else. Position Description: This is a salaried position and you would usually be working out of the Cairns CBD, however you may be required to work out of our other two practices in Cairns as well.
This role will include injury management, conducting statutory medical assessments and pre-employment medical screening / examinations in line with our client's requirements and instructions from the State Medical Director and National Medical Director Occupational Health Services. Qualifications and Experience: Must be:
  • Registered with AHPRA with no restrictions on registration.
