Salary: MP Year 1-2 $191,488 - $200,344 p.a. pro rata (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation, and professional development allowance)

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Area Profile: Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.

Fremantle Hospital (FH) is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.

Position Profile: The Anaesthesia and Pain department invites applications for our 2022 Senior Registrar, General and Specialty Fellowship positions. Our Senior Registrar’s (Fellows) are responsible for the Anaesthetic management and Perioperative care of patients undergoing surgical or other procedures at Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospitals in normal hours and approximately 1 in 5 on call out of hours. In addition, our Senior Registrars (Fellows) and supervise our Junior Registrar cohort under the direction of a nominated Consultant Anaesthetist.

Our Specialty Anaesthetic Fellowship positions are for a 12 month duration and are designed to give additional in depth training. Our General fellowships are available at either 6 or 12 month duration during which there is scope for requesting lists in areas of interest.

Specialty Anaesthetic Fellowship positions offered are as follows:
