Aged care facility in the South East suburbs requires a maintenance officer, for a permanent position
Your new company
Our client is a well-known aged care provider in Australia, and they require a highly skilled all-rounder maintenance officer to complete reactive and preventative repairs at one of their large facilities based in Melbourne’s South East. This position is a permanent position, commencing immediately.
Your new role
Reporting to the home manager and the property manager, as well as working alongside another maintenance officer, you will be required to complete preventive and scheduled maintenance on the facility. You will be required to undertake the following, however not limited to:
- Patch & Paint
- Changing door locks
- Repairing damaged fixtures
- Furniture removal
- Changing lights
- Basic carpentry
- Other ad hoc duties.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, you must have;
- Experience as a maintenance officer within an aged care facility
- Trade qualification (desired)
- Current Police Check (within last 12 months, or willing to obtain)
- White card
- Record of current Influenza vaccination
What you'll get in return
